The Lilliput Film Distribution
"In 1938, Esther Lonsky is ostracized by her family - her only friend is Abraham Kerber, a Jewish dwarf with whom she takes refuge ater her husband leaves for the front. When the Nazi's march into Poland, Abraham escapes and survives the war by hiding in garbage cans at the train station. His story lives on in Poland today."
Within the Lilliput movie, the larger issues, concerning the way in which Poland has dealt with its complicated Jewish history, will be examined and revealed through the use of a parallel narrative, with characters in the present tied to the past as a result of birth and shared history.
The Lilliput is written and directed by American Fulbright Minna Zielonka Packer and is produced by Packer Productions and Dovetail Productions. Work on the film began in 2008.

(Note: Please see the references below for details regarding the history of Konin, the Work Camp, Gombiners that were sent there and the creation of the mass grave in the Catholic cemetery.)
The first thing I noticed upon arriving at the site of the mass grave is how banal it appears. Located on the outer edge of the Catholic cemetery, its basic appearance and condition is very similar to the surrounding graves, excluding obvious factors such as its size and the star of David on the tombstone...
